The History of AASE

The Association of Technical Sales Engineers (AASE) is a professional organization that represents sales engineers in Europe. AASE was founded in 2014 by a group of sales engineers who recognized the need for a professional organization that would provide a forum for networking, knowledge sharing, and professional development.

The early years of AASE were focused on establishing the organization and building its membership base. The founding members worked tirelessly to recruit new members and establish partnerships with industry organizations and academic institutions. They also organized events and conferences to bring members together and share knowledge and expertise.

In the late 2010s and early 2020s, AASE experienced a period of rapid growth and expansion. Membership increased significantly, and the organization established chapters in several European countries. AASE also developed partnerships with a number of industry organizations, academic institutions, and government agencies.

During this time, AASE also began to develop a strong presence in the research community.

The organization established a research committee to promote research and innovation in the field of sales engineering, and began publishing a journal to showcase the latest research findings.

In the years since its founding, AASE has continued to evolve and grow. The organization has expanded its membership to include sales engineers from a wide range of industries, and has established partnerships with organizations around the world. AASE has also become a leading voice in the field of sales engineering, advocating for the interests of its members and promoting the importance of the sales engineering profession.

Today, AASE continues to be a vital and dynamic organization that is dedicated to advancing the field of sales engineering and supporting the professional growth and development of its members. The organization remains committed to its founding principles of networking, knowledge sharing, and professional development, and is well-positioned to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future.
